LONDON FESTIVAL OF ARCHITECTURE 2017

The London Festival of Architecture 2017 runs from 1-30 June. The theme of the Festival is 'Memory'. West London Link, in partnership with HammersmithLondon, will be having two FREE guided walks during June as well as an exhibition on the changing Town Centre from 20-29 June.

The exhibition is from 20-29 June from 9.30am-5.30pm weekdays; 11am-3pm Saturday (Sundays closed).

It will capture the character of a handful of places in central Hammersmith, including Hammersmith Town Hall, the Broadway Centre, and the Apollo. Come and explore the changing character of the past, the dreams for the future and how places that once formed the scenery for many people's most vivid memories of Hammersmith have now disappeared.

Our event will be a time capsule for the now and a gift of nostalgia for the future.

The first walk, on 3 June will be about the memories encapsulated in the artistic institutions surrounding us in Hammersmith and is also a part of the Hammersmith and Fulham ArtsFest. The walk will meet at 11am at Hammersmith tube

The second, on 24 June also meets at 11am at Hammersmith tube. Come along to hear about the memories, both architectural and otherwise, of St Paul's Church.

As well as these walks, our exhbition called Where do you think you are? will be on show at St Paul's Church
